I used to doubt everything I did
No more
Now I live from my heart
The more I let go
And embrace my connection with The Divine
The more doubt dissolves into faith
I used to beat myself up
Every time I made a mistake
No more
I made peace with my demons
Until they felt safe enough
To transform into angels
I used to want validation
External proof that I’m worthy and loved
Until I found out
It’s a loop
An addiction never fully satisfied
Instead
I’ve learned to face myself
And realize
Beyond a shadow of a doubt
That everything I craved from others
From the external world
Was within me all along
The love
The worth
The fulfillment
The joy
The peace
I rediscovered the portal of my heart
Cleansed the clutter around it
And purified my nervous system
So that the states of being
I thought were received
From somewhere out there
Somewhere in the future
Were always here
Here I Am
With eyes to see
Here I Am
With the courage to BE
Raw Human Commentary
Ever doubt yourself?
Welcome to being human.
It’s easy to doubt ourselves these days.
With so much input, so much information, incessant distractions and social media hype everywhere, it’s inevitable to fall into self-doubt sometimes.
While doubt is a natural part of the human experience, it’s obviously not beneficial to be swallowed by it; overtaken by its incessant chatterings.
This is when you get caught in the loops of doubt, where it festers and becomes hard to get rid of. Sometimes, it feels like it’s a permanent personality defect.
But here’s the thing.
The doubts, the self-criticism - all that stuff that gets you down and makes you look for validation outside yourself… It’s just a pattern of thoughts. That’s it.
Thoughts operate on the principle of, “like feeds like.”
If you have a thought of self-doubt, guess what? It creates more thoughts of self-doubt. And if you keep doing this, soon enough you’re overrun by self-doubt because you’ve created a feedback loop of those thoughts.
Here’s why knowing the “like feeds like” concept is important.
Once you understand it, you realize that doubt (or whatever the negative thoughts are) is NOT a personality defect. It’s just a feedback loop.
When you really get that, and have the aha moment that it’s just a feedback loop, you free yourself from the loop.
You clear the slate so that you can start a new, more positive feedback loop.
Remember, when it comes to thoughts, “like feeds like.”
Feed the thought patterns you actually want to experience.
If you’re reading this, I’m cheering you on across space and time.
No matter what circumstance you’re in, keep the faith.
Even if it seems hopeless, there’s a divine plan greater than you can comprehend.
You’re being strengthened, because maybe the challenges you’re going through become the gifts you share to make the world a better place.
With Infinite Love,
