Everything Is A Teacher
Everything is a teacher
Don’t let the distractions throw you off
Instead, use them as practice to come back to center
Everything is a teacher
Why waste energy judging and resisting,
When you can learn?
No need to ally with disharmonic forces
And take on others’ energies
Learning requires sacred neutrality
Learning requires humility
Higher learning comes from higher perspective
Seeing all as interconnected
When we learn and grow
We create space within the fabric of reality
For all to learn and grow
Every challenge is a teacher
Every hardship is a teacher
Every annoyance is a teacher
Every angel is a teacher
Every demon is a teacher
Can you set aside your judgment?
Can you set aside your ego?
Can you set aside your attachments?
And see the lessons
Blessing you in every moment
Although there are struggles in life
Life doesn’t have to be a struggle
You can use the difficulties
Instead of letting the difficulties use you
Everything is a teacher
A divine opportunity to learn and grow
Raw Human Commentary
When I sat in meditation and asked for the message for this week, something funny happened.
Right away, a loud lawnmower turned on and dominated my senses.
Instead of resisting it or getting angry at the noise, a phrase came to me… “Thank you teacher.”
That’s when the message, “Everything is a teacher,” began to unpack within my consciousness, and I wrote the whole transmission from there.
This theme of everything being a lesson isn’t new.
However, we can always deepen our practice of this. And that’s where the magic is.
The real work is seeing the lesson in the situations where your ego acts up.
When you want to defend yourself or prove a point
When someone or something annoys you
When you feel superior or inferior
When you make a mistake and start beating yourself up
When you’re faced with a challenge and want to give up
Those kind of scenarios are where the real juice is; the juice that supercharges your growth as a being.
Yes, we can learn from everything. We can grow from everything.
But it requires enough self-awareness and humility to see the opportunities instead of falling for the reactive ego traps.
If we zoom out enough, to see the big-big picture, one of the best ways to describe the purpose of existence is to learn and grow.
That’s the soul’s journey - to experience, learn, grow.
So embrace it.
