Intuition might be far more expansive than we’ve all thought…
In the last several weeks, two unique perspectives on intuition revealed themselves to me — and there are some BIG implications.
Right now, many people are experiencing their intuition “come online” and/or get a lot clearer.
I feel that intuition is a key aspect of our evolution, and it will play a bigger and bigger role for humanity.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s define intuition.
Here’s the traditional definition:
Intuition is direct insight, or knowledge acquired without reasoning or traditional means of learning.
This is pretty general, right? Well, that leads us to the first unique take on intuition…
1) Intuition As: All Metaphysical Perception
Intuition can be viewed as a catch-all term for all metaphysical perception.
That shows us how little we know about our multidimensional existence. There could be millions of metaphysical perception modalities that exist, all under this umbrella we call intuition.
When you look at intuition this way — as an aggregate of metaphysical perceptions — it’s mind-blowing.
We have so much to learn, explore and investigate.
Some of these are already talked about a lot:
Claircognizance - Intuitive knowing
Clairvoyance - Intuitive seeing
Clairaudience - Intuitive hearing
Clairsentience - Intuitive feeling
…But even these are broad categories themselves.
Plus, they’re just metaphysical mirrors of our physical senses.
I have a sneaking “intuition” that there are many, many forms of intuition that we don’t know about yet. And that’s exciting.
Now, on to the second unique view of what intuition might be…
2) Intuition As: Pattern Recognition
Another unique take on intuition is as a form of pattern recognition.
For example, if you've come across and dozens of manipulative salespeople in your life, you will start to recognize these patterns (even subconsciously) and intuitively know that this person is trying to pull manipulative sales tactics on you.
This is an example of the pattern recognition component of intuition.
Many “skeptics” claim that intuition is only pattern recognition. Nothing metaphysical. Just pattern recognition. This view is both arrogant and naive.
Keep in mind that pattern recognition is just one component of intuition.
Now here’s the real kicker. The pattern recognition of intuition is FAR more comprehensive than most people imagine.
Intuition’s pattern recognition doesn't only apply to our personal experiences. It applies to…
Collective experiences
Epigenetics and ancestral patterns
Past lives
Our collective unconscious mind as described by Carl Jung
Morphogenetic fields as described by Rupert Sheldrake
In this way, intuition takes into account the patterns all of humanity (and more) has observed, experienced and learned from. Talk about a giant dataset, right?
There’s more too!
Intuition also taps into the pattern recognition of the Quantum Field, which is both all possibility and all manifestation.
So if you go deep enough with intuition, you tap into the quantum realm. You tap into Source itself.
This is where pattern recognition reconciles with prescience. When you tune into the Quantum Field, you can pick up on future possibilities as much as past patterns.
And again, this is just part of what we call intuition.
Marinate on that for a moment...
It’s More Than We Think
We understand so little about intuition.
It seems to be a term we use to describe all metaphysical perception.
There’s also an aspect of it that’s based on pattern recognition. And on some level, quantum pattern recognition.
In light of that, I invite you to explore your intuition and share what you learn.
Create more space to just be. Notice your thoughts, and be perceptive to whatever emerges.
When insights come, and you feel called to share, don’t doubt yourself. Express your findings in whatever way you need to.
We’re all mapping reality and spiritual evolution together.
The mystery of existence is so beautiful.
Much Love,
Stephen Parato

Well done.
Remembering is a huge part of it for me, both transmitting and listening for patterns.
